Krieghoff K-80 Pro Sporter
The K-80 Pro Sporter features a new Floating Rib suspended higher above the barrel than conventional Sporting Clays and Skeet competition shotguns. The higher rib design and corresponding higher stock allow shooters to keep their head in a more erect position on the stock, thereby increasing sight range and allowing for quicker target acquisition, reducing neck fatigue, and reducing perceived recoil.
Specially designed adjustment wedges fitted under the rib allow the shooter to select a flat shooting 50/50 POI or a slightly higher 60/40 POI. Both POI settings are approximations and can differ slightly. Standard is the 50/50 POI wedge, which can be easily exchanged with the 60/40 POI wedge by a qualified Krieghoff gunsmith. Barrel lengths of 30" and 32", both complete with Tapered Flat Adjustable Floating Rib and choice of standard factory steel or optional Titanium choke tubes add flexibility to your choice of game. Shooters can choose a #3 Pro Sporter Stock with Adjustable Comb paired with a #7 Schnabel forend or a #6 Monte Carlo Stock with Adjustable Comb designed for the Floating Rib barrel and paired with a #3 Skeet forend in fine-checkered Turkish walnut.
